I am building a form where users might take a while editing before submitting their input. However, CakePHP or some PHP configuration logs them out after an unknown period of time, resulting in a frustrating user experience and potential loss of their input.
Hence the question: How to disable the session timeout in CakePHP 4?
The question has also been asked once five years ago with the accepted solution to just send an AJAX request every minute to keep the session alive. While this should work sufficiently, I'm looking for the intended best-practice approach.
