php - using a subdomain as the admin site on a wordpress Multisite

I've just taken over our companies sites and have been asked to consolidate them. There are 4 wordpress sites and then our marketing site on a different platform.

The marketing site is at mydomain.com and then the 4 subsites are subsite1.mydomain.com through subsite4.mydomain

I want to move the 4 wordpress sites into a mutisite install, but I can't use the mydomain.com as the main site as that is the main marketing site. Is it possible to have the main Wordpress Multisite as something like internaladmin.mydomain.com and then subsite1.mydomain etc for the multisites?
